Dean feels like he’s won the lottery when his multimillionaire Uncle George offers him a job, but when the Department of Justice sues him for $19 million, Dean’s uncle disappears. Enter Zachary, a former Balanchine dancer and choreographer of the Metropolitan Opera, who takes Dean in and teaches him how to survive through stories of a career interrupted by World War II. “Voice of Authority” is a true story brought to life with a healthy dose of humor and a little slide guitar.

Dean Temple takes us on a fantastical journey through finance and farce, ballet and boardrooms, with a few musical stops along the way. Entertaining and thought provoking – a hidden gem!
UK Fringe Review

Captivating, compelling, and with a healthy does of humor.
PGH In the Round

Temple’s performance perfectly conveys the struggle to overcome the voice in your head that tells you, “You can’t.”
